Students from Perrotis College and its Vocational Education Center participate in workshops, while they have the opportunity to discuss, demystify and to discover different approaches on various topics.
During the first course 'Beyond fake news', a representative of the International Peace Journalism Laboratory of the Department of Journalism and Mass Media of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was invited as a role model and presented his successful activity in the field of Literacy and Media thinking. Many thanks to Nikos Panagiotou, Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Media and Anthi Baliou, librarian and PhD candidate in the field of "Literacy in Digital Mobile Media" for their collaboration.
The Perrotis College teaching staff has undertaken the NERDVET pilot trainings and particularly Damiana Koutsomicha, Nikos Gizgkis, Lefteris Papadopoulos, Sofia Lalou, Vangelis Vergos and Eugenia Efthymiadou. The trainers have been trained during a separate workshop on the methodology and use of the educational toolkit.
